BISS CH Belmar's Desert Gold Strike - "Striker"

Striker finished his championship at the age of 11 months.  He is a semi flashy fawn with double dark haws and very dark eyes.  His color is rich, dark reddish brown.  He is square built with good substance and  short back.  His movement is smooth with excellent drive and reach.  He has a distinct looking head with a very nice stop, intelligent expression and high ear set. He has a smooth topline, nice angulation and  temperament that you just dream about.

He accumulated 3 Best Puppy in Sweeps, 3 Best Puppy in Specialty awards and 3 Grand Sweepstake awards.  He started his winning ways with two - 1 point wins with a BOS and BOB over a special.  He had 2 placements at ABC.  He finished his championship in grand style with 13 points in an 11 day period.  These wins included two - 2 point wins, a 4 point major and a 5 point major and  Best Opposite Sex award over 4 specials. 

Striker finished 2009 ranked #21 in breed with limited showing and ranked #17 in All Breed Points.  He had 20 BOB, 1 BISS, 2 Group 1's, 3 Group 2's, 1 Group 3, and 2 Group 4's.

Striker has had a 24 hour Holter with 0 VPC's and has had a normal cardiac exam via color doppler echo by Board Certified Cardiologist Dr. Whit M. Church, DVM, DACVIM.  His thyroid is normal.  His hips are OFA certified - "Good".
