CH Belmar's Desert Gold Strike - "Striker"

Watch for Striker in the Specialty Ring starting in the Spring of 2009 being professionally handled by Kimberlie Steele-Gamero!

Striker is our newest champion!  He finished his championship at a tender age of 11 months.  He is a semi flashy fawn with double dark haws and very dark eyes.  His color is a rich dark reddish brown.  He is square built with good substance and a short back.  He has a distinct looking head with a very nice stop and high ear set. He has a nice topline and a temperament that you just dream about.

He accumulated 3 Best Puppy in Sweeps, 3 Best Puppy in Specialty awards and 3 Grand Sweepstake awards.  He started his winning ways with two - 1 point wins with a BOS and BOB over a special.  He had 2 placements at ABC.  He finished his championship in grand style with 13 points in an 11 day period.  These wins included two - 2 point wins, an 4 point major and a 5 point major and a Best Opposite Sex award over 4 specials.  Below is a list of his awards and wins.

• Friday February 29, at his first show, at 6 month of age he was awarded "Best Puppy in Sweepstakes" by Judge Ms Michelle Yeadon.
• Saturday, March 22, 2008 Striker took Winner Dog and BOS for his 1 point under Judge Dr. J Donald Jones at the Canada del Oro Kennel Club in Tucson, AZ.
• Sunday March 23, 2008 Striker was awarded Winner Dog for 1 point and BOW and BOB by Judge Ms Susan C Catlin at the Canada del Oro Kennel Club in Tucson, AZ.
• Monday May 5, 2008 at the ABC National Futurity Show.  Striker took a class placement (3rd) in the 9 to 12 Month Fawn Dog Class, under Judge Ms Virginia L. Shames.
• Tuesday May 6, 2008 at the ABC National Conformation Show.  Striker takes a class placement (4th) in the 9 to 12 month Fawn Dog Class under Judge Mrs. Lawernce J.(Janet) Sinclair.
• Thursday July 3, at the Boxer Club of San Fernando Valley Specialty Sweepstakes, Striker went Best Puppy in Sweeps and Grand Sweepstakes Winner under Judge Mrs Betty Aikenhead.  He also took Best Puppy in Specialty under Judge Ms Annella Cooper.
• Friday July 4, at the Channel City Kennel Club under Judge Mrs Barbara Ann Brooks Striker took RWD.
• Saturday July 5 at the Santa Maria Kennel Club under Judge Mr David Bolus Striker went WD, BOW for a 4 point Major!
• Sunday July 6 at the Ventura County Dog Fanciers Association Striker took RWD under Judge Mr Tomas Gomez.
• Wednesday July 9th at the Comal Kennel Club under Judge Mrs. Wyoma M Clouss , Striker takes WD, BOW, BOS for 2 points.
• Thursday July 10, at the Austin Kennel Club Striker goes RWD under Judge Mrs. Houston Clark.
• Friday July 11, at the Bexar County Kennel Club Striker went RWD a under Judge Mr Jon Cole.
• Saturday July 12, at the Austin Kennel Club Striker goes WD, BOW, BOS under Judge Mrs. Kimberly Anne Meredith-Cavanna for 2 points.
• Wednesday July 16 at the Bluebonnet Boxer Club Specialty Striker goes WD, BOW, BOS over 4 specials for a 5 point Major under Judge Mrs. Karen S McFarlane.  While at the World Series of Dog shows he added 2 more Grand Sweepstakes Wins. 
• At a mere 11 months and 11 days of age Striker is now CH Belmar's Desert Gold Strike!!!!!!!!!!!!
